We are looking for enthusiastic colleagues who want to use their practical experience to prepare students for a promising future.

We are currently looking for colleagues for our Dutch-language daytime program, international English-language program, and the Dutch-language evening track.

What is your role?

Depending on your interests and expertise, you can work in one or more of these domains:

• IT Infrastructure, System and Network Administration (NL and ENG): Linux – Cloud – Networking
• Software Development & Programming (NL and ENG): Java – TypeScript – React
• Data & AI (NL and ENG): Python – SQL – Data Analytics
• Technical coaching of students during projects and internships (NL and ENG)

You will teach in Dutch and/or English to both local and international students.

Together with your colleagues, you will develop new course content and innovative teaching methods. You keep existing courses up to date, introduce new technologies, and are not afraid to decide which content has become less relevant. Your practical experience is an important source of inspiration in this process.

In the classroom, you combine theory with practice. You guide exercises, coach students during projects, and support them in their personal and professional development.

In the evening program, we work according to the flipped classroom principle. You introduce the material during a compact online or on-campus session. Students then process and practice the material independently. Expect about 1 to 2 hours of teaching per course per week, between Monday and Thursday, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

What is your profile?

You have experience in one or more of the above domains and understand how the IT sector is evolving. You know how to translate that practical experience into inspiring and relevant education.

In addition:

• You strongly believe in lifelong learning and keep a close eye on technological developments;
• You are energized by educational innovation and innovative teaching methods;
• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in (applied) computer science, electronics-ICT, engineering, or a related field, supplemented with relevant practical experience;
• A teaching qualification is a plus, but certainly not required. Enthusiasm for education and a genuine passion for students are more important to us;
• You enjoy teamwork and actively contribute to an open, constructive team culture.

For the English-language programs at KdG, a C1 English certificate is required. If you are not a native Dutch speaker, you have a B2 certificate in Dutch (or are willing to obtain this as soon as possible). You have a valid residence status in Belgium.

What do we offer you?

• A part-time assignment as a contractual employee. You start on September 1, 2026 with a contract for one year, with the intention of extending (after positive evaluation).
• As a Bachelor’s degree holder, you are paid a salary according to the pay scale for a practical lecturer (316) and as a Master’s degree holder, according to the pay scale for a lecturer (502).
