Key takeaways from the session
- The ACS programme offers a warm, welcoming environment with very approachable lecturers.
- You’re often working in small groups with a lot of project work.
- The programme is clearly structured around 4 domains: data and AI, software development, infrastructure, and “The company” - business competencies to support your technical skills.
- No experience is required (and not much Maths!), but a genuine desire to challenge yourself is.
- You can enjoy an 8-week internship anywhere in the world.
- Career opportunities range from start-ups to consultancies to large corporations. Graduates also choose further studies.
- You’ll be ready to make a positive impact in an organization of your choice upon graduation.
We will still need a lot of people who have knowledge about how to help companies build and run their software. The core of the profession is: What does the client need? What is the business problem? How can we use IT to make society better? To make companies run better?
